My Hidden Sin is a melodic death metal band with progressive influences. Founded by Maxime Hacquard and Sylvain Favre at the end of 2010. Allan Tosetti has joined the band very early the same year, Jolan Normand has joined in 2011 And Christophe Oliveira has joined in 2014.
They decided to make a metal with all they like in this music genre such as songs with elaborate structures, beautiful interludes and a big energy!
The Tale, The first release was made at the begining of the band (2010-2011) with Maxime And Sylvain, Allan adding his Drum Parts. The Band Starts to do some Local gigs and do some funny video clips.
Encouraged by many people, they decided to move on to something bigger and they recorded The Tale at the end of 2013 with a solid line up.
My Hidden Sin take the energy and melodicism of classic melodic death of bands like At The Gates and Dark Tranquility and fuse it with more modern progressive elements of everything from Dream Theater to Opeth to create a sound that is as challenging as it is catchy. They create a old melodic death wave progressive music,Classical music and exotic stuff (jazzy stuff, world music...)
