NIGHTLAND - One Million Suns [OFFICIAL VIDEO] Feat. Elektra Amber

Resultado de imagem para NIGHTLAND - Lovers in a Colorless Summer [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
Nightland were formed in Pesaro in 2007 for the will of the singer and guitarist Ludovico Cioffi, to whom several years ago several musicians are added, before arriving to the present formation formed by Filippo Scrima (Guitar), Francesco Ambrogiani (Keyboards), Brendan Paolini ) and Filippo Cicoria (Drums).

Very active on the live and musically receptive fronts for contemporary productions of symphonic, death, folk and viking, the five propose to combine these influences with a scream / growl singing alternating with epic and powerful choirs. So after a first ep "Knights of the Dark Empire" (2011), in 2012 is the turn of "In Solemn Rise", a 5-track ep by which it is extracted as single / video "Diamond Siren", a further step forward which brings the band to an intense live activity (opening for Suffilation, Cephalic Carnage, Vision Divine, Ancient Bards, Havok, Eyeconoclast), embellished with scenic elements that will become a constant during subsequent performances.

By the end of 2013, the Nightland came into the studio to begin working on the first full-length album titled "Obsession", which represents a new exciting chapter in their career taking on new stylistic nuances. The same definition of "Epic Death Metal" begins to take on less defined and wider contours, the sound becomes more aggressive, the keyboard riffs of the 90s power are almost completely abandoned to give space to powerful orchestrations and symphonic choirs. Even the content is more dull, the themes are dramatic, at times disturbing, highlighted by numerous atmospheric digressions in support of the concept behind Obsession: a profound analysis of the most cruel aspects of the mental instability of ' man, derived from obsessions, paranoia and phobias.

"Umbra Astra Luna" is the second full-length album of the band, it was released on November 8, 2019 at the Brainstorm Fest (Apeldoorn, Netherlands).

"Lovers in a Colorless Summer", is the second single from the new "Umbra Astra Luna". The band commented on this video, he was directed by Matteo Ermeti: "'Lovers in a Colorless Summer' is  the conclusion of a story started with 'One Million Suns', the single was released last September. The episodes have as their main theme it gloomy and romantic concept that is at the base of the album, which takes its inspiration from astrology and from veiled esotericism present in the symbols that recur insistently along the history. disquieting, to represent the journey that each of us makes within ourselves, in an attempt to defeat our own demons, expose our weaknesses and then find ourselves capable of finding a place where we can put our own soul in peace and security ".

Mechina - Telesterion (Full-Length Album - 2019) - Bandcamp Stream

Mechina is an industrial groove metal sort of band. I say “sort of” because that doesn’t really begin to describe their sound. It is a mix of symphonic, science fiction, death metal, groove metal, electronic, and… just that nameless unique quality that many bands lack.

The band has defied the norm of metal and raised the standard for musical originality throughout the Midwest. With the mixture of precision inspired metal, symphonic melodies, creative and unorthodox lyrical content, and a plethora of intriguing yet intense atmospheres, Mechina has created a unique and unmatched presence in and around the Chicago area. Members reside out of Naperville, Geneva and Batavia, IL.

The band has two members: David Holch and Joe Tiberi. The wall of sound they create (mixing symphonic, electronic, and traditional instruments) is primarily created on the computer. For this reason, Mechina is not a touring band.

Even without the scifi-themed lyrics, Mechina's mixing of symphonies with electronic and heavy metal sounds has led some fans to refer to their style of music as "Mass Effect Metal", a reference to the series of video games.

Mechina are a band whose growth has been one of the most interesting to watch over the past few years. Few bands have been quite as ambitious as they have been with their music. Few have completely ignored whether or not they were going to be successful, and just went big anyway, but that is exactly what Mechina have done during their time as artists.

Starting out as a full band before eventually becoming the studio project of a couple of producers in the Chicago area, Mechina have already banged out a whole arc of albums — a conceptual trilogy told over three full discs and a smattering of singles — that have archived a whole universe constantly at war, ending with planets left barren and whole populations destroyed, played out over the soundtrack of an industrial/symphonic death band with a taste for eight-and-up-string poly-rhythmic guitar playing.

Over time, the band’s production has grown leaps and bounds, and as they’ve adopted characters into their story and adapted a new vocalist into the fold, they’ve created enough lore in their universe that someone actually took the time out of their day to try and establish a wiki site to keep track of all of it, one that I’ve already used liberally. While we haven’t quite hit Bal-Sagoth levels of craziness, I imagine Mechina could be reaching that point soon enough with their sci-fi, planet-destroying antics.

The band's music is very similar to the early Fear Factory, but what then is very different: it bombed in every respect, all forms of emotions creates and expands a new era of modern industrial metal. Yet it is inspirational rhythms, orchestral music and non-standard creative lyrical content, as well as many intriguing and intense passages in the parties. The atmosphere is obtained simply breathtaking!

For the last 9 years, one band has defied the norm of metal and continued the progression of musical originality throughout the Midwest. Music that bombards every sense, creates every form of emotion and reinforces the new age of modern metal. With the mixture of precision inspired rhythms, orchestral melodies, creative and unorthodox lyrical content, and a plethora of intriguing and intense atmospheres, Mechina has created a unique presence in the future of metal. New album Telesterion, that is a follow-up to 2017's As Embers Turn To Dust, the album was released on the 1st of November.

Skyforest is a melancholic metal project from Podolsk, Russia. First ideas and recordings were made in 2013, but the project was ready to surface only in early 2014. The music continues to expand the ideas left in my previous project, Annorkoth, and basically it's a continuation of it under the new name - Skyforest. The project  feature session members until I will be capable to make everything on my own.

The band released a new song from the upcoming album "A New Dawn", to be released in early 2020. This song is featuring Clare De Lune from Edenfall.

Wilderun - Veil of Imagination (Full-Length Album - 2019) - Bandcamp Stream

Boston-based WILDERUN‘s third epic progressive metal masterpiece, entitled Veil of Imagination, was released on November 1.

Formed in 2012, WILDERUN has previously released two albums, 2012’s Olden Tales & Deathly Trails and 2015’s Sleep at the Edge of the Earth. With this slightly different approach to creating music, Veil of Imagination transforms and expands upon WILDERUN‘s already indefinable style, resulting in an album that is at once beautiful and fierce. Clean vocals transform into deathly growls as the band alternates between exquisitely-composed orchestrations and savage metal, all executed with technical prowess.

With elements of progressive metal, folk and orchestral music providing a dynamic backdrop, Veil of Imagination takes listeners through vivid, emotional landscapes, while the lyrics weave tales that are simultaneously fantastical and personal. Veil of Imagination is a stunningly epic, emotional and whimsical odyssey through landscapes of earth and mind.
Says orchestrator Wayne Ingram, “Veil of Imagination is probably the most escapist and unique album we’ve done so far, compositionally and sonically. Creating more experimental orchestral stuff was a lot of fun.”

“I see Veil of Imagination as the culmination of everything we’ve achieved as a band thus far,” says bassist Dan Müller. “The band is tighter and the orchestrations are bigger yet more concise than they’ve ever been. This is also the first album where we chose to record the drums, bass, and rhythm guitar live all together, and I think it’s brought more of that organic live energy to the actual album as a whole.”

“WILDERUN has become one big family and I believe that shines through on this album,” adds drummer Jon Teachey. “When we all got together to form a little folk metal project in 2012, I couldn’t have dreamed that we would be where we are today. I love these dudes and am grateful every day to be part of this group. I hope everyone enjoys this release.”

Veil of Imagination was recorded at More Sound Studios in Syracuse, NY, during February and March of 2018. The album was produced by Wilderun, Justin Spaulding and Andrew Greacen. Veil of Imagination was mixed by the legendary Dan Swanö and mastered by Jens Bogren, Artwork by Adrian Cox.
