APHYXION is a 5-piece metal act out of Ribe, Denmark, formed in 2007 - all members in their mid-teens - APHYXION has been going through a major development both musically and mentally. The group has gathered a rather good reputation by the appearances on prestigious festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Copenhell, massive touring in Europe and shows played alongside well established bands inside and outside of Denmark. APHYXION has managed to play nearly 100 shows before the age of 20. They have a prominent willpower that is always increasing.

After the band’s beginner-stage where they released 2 EP’s - “Eradication of Fates” (2009) and “Obliteration of the Weak” (2010) - they chose to create their first full length studio album. It was recorded at Hansen Studios (Volbeat, Aborted, ect.), entitled “Earth Entangled”, and released on 1st of September 2014, through Mighty Music. It was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Epica etc).

With the smashing sound, created in the studio by producer Jacob Hansen and the band’s own guitarist Jonas Haagensen, the debut attained much recognition within Europe, and was featured in several major metal magazines, with comments such as:

“Meet APHYXION, the new saviours of melodic death metal… of the most exciting new bands in Europe.” - Dom Lawson, Metal Hammer UK

Besides being nominated for “Best Hard Rock Album” at the prestigious annual Gaffa Awards, “Earth Entangled” has been received with praises from the biggest rock/metal Medias around the world.

The biggest Danish music magazine, Gaffa, comments: “Melodic death metal at it's finest. Earth Entangled is solid and addictive, and Danish metal’s future could easily be in APHYXION's sign"

With the newly attained recognition, the band recently released a new  album AFTERMATH, on December 2nd, 2016, their second album , this time through Prime Collective. With a more catchy, refined sound, again made in Hansen Studios, the band is now ready to take on the world.

Dark Rites - Dark Rites (Full-Length Album - 2017) - Deezer Stream

January 23rd 2017, sees the release of Dark Rites debut album Dark Rites released worldwide on Sliptrick Records. A classic mix of hard and heavy to bring in the new year.

Dark Rites is an international act founded by Randy (USA) and Wojtek (UK) in early 2016. Despite its members living in different continents, technology has enabled them to overcome all possible geographical obstacles. After playing in several local bands in the late 90’s and late 2000’s, Randy and Wojtek soon teamed up with Oskar (ex-Disrupted, Sweden), thus completing the line-up.

Dark Rites shortly afterwards and since then they have worked on the songs featured on the forthcoming album. Much of the work was done in their home recording studio, and not being subjected to time limits or deadlines, allowed the band to hone and perfect each song until they finally reached their desired effect.

DARK RITES wear their multiple influences on their sleeve. Their upcoming, self-titled full-length delivers a fresh yet deadly combination of Death Metal, melodic lines and powerful riffs, combined with fierce Thrash Metal tempos, Heavy Metal solos and powerful vocals.

All of DARK RITES’ songs are strongly autobiographical, with lyrics inspired by the band’s beliefs, views and fascinations. Their common passion for metal music – in all of its different facets and sub-genres – really shines throughout the entire length of the record.

As a band, they have never wanted to be restricted to a certain style when it comes to creating music and writing songs and so they have striven to blend different aspects of their influences into an original whole. Some may call it Death Metal or Metal Core and others may call it Alternative Metal, but for Dark Rites it has always been about expressing their passion for Metal music.

Killcode - Shot (Lyric Video - 2017) - Reverbnation Stream

KILLCODE is a five piece band based in New York City. Their unique sound is a product of their diverse influences and has been described as "Southern infused Rock/ Metal with modern vocals." KILLCODE’s songs are hooky super charged sing along Anthems with BIG Guitars and Driving Rhythms.

Forming in 2008, vocalist Tom Morrissey and guitarist Chas laid the foundation with a couple of songs they recorded at Chas' home studio. After recruiting long time musical companion Erric Bonesmith on bass guitar, KILLCODE found its form with the addition of Pat Harrington on guitar and Rob Noxious on the drums.

With all members coming from established projects prior to KILLCODE, the band quickly raised eyebrows and landed on bills with the likes of Godsmack & Sevendust. KILLCODE also provided main support to Brett Scallions on the Re Fueled East Coast tour.

To date, band has released 'To Die For' (a six song EP released at the end of 2008), and a second six song EP, 'Taking it All', which was released in 2010. Both EPs charted well nationally and gained the band critical acclaim worldwide. The song "Breaking Away," off of 'Taking It All', was featured in the inspirational documentary, 'DRESSED', directed by David Swajeski and starring fashion designer Nari Manivong and "6am Again", which appears on both their debut EP, "To Die For" and the self titled full length album, has been featured on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius.

In 2012, they entered the studio once again with Juno nominated producer Stacy O'Dell (who produced both prior EPs) to record the full length, twelve song self-titled effort, 'KILLCODE'. The Album charted in the #2 position for the week of 8/18/12 on BILLBOARD Mid-Atlantic Heatseekers Charts. CME records recently re-released the album via Mega force/Sony Red with two bonus tracks, which will extend the bands reach even further.

In December of 2013, KILLCODE parted ways with Pat Harrington and welcomed DC Gonzalez on guitar. DC, known as lead guitarist for the rock band PANZIE, has proven to more than just fit in... his style complements what KILLCODE already had going on and it has reinvigorated the band as they head into the studio now in spring 2014, with producer Joey Zampella (best known as guitarist for legendary bands Life of Agony, Carnivore, and Stereomud).

The band has enjoyed an ever growing fan base both nationally and internationally, they continue to headline and sell out prominent marquee venues including New York City's Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theater and Bowery Ballroom as well as tremendously successful support gigs at Roseland Ballroom and Best Buy Theater. Their Tristate area success was complimented by successful show at Dunkin Donuts Arena in New Hampshire, Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts and The Viper Room in Los Angeles.

In October 2014, KILLCODE partnered with Rive Video Promotions to release the video for their song, "The Wrong Side" which was filmed all over New York State and was directed by David Swajeski and Produced by Maryanne Grisz.

KILLCODE's future is bright and they are doing a great job of carrying the torch for the new generation. They aren't showing any signs of slowing down and are ready and able to take their rightful place alongside the biggest rock acts out there.

KILLCODE represents the present and the future of the New York underground Hard Rock music scene thanks to their ability of creating music that is both fresh and fun. With recent concerts with TWISTED SISTER, ADRENALINE MOB and THE DIRTY PEARLS, KILLCODE have definitely proven that they are ways more than a glorified local band!

In case you are wondering when the NEW KILLCODE album will be released, the band is planning on releasing their NEW album which will be featured on their upcoming album to be produced by Joey Z (Life of Agony, Zire's War).

But since the KILLCODE boys love their fans (known as the KILLCODE KREW), they decided to premiere a song entitled "Kicking and Screaming" on August 7th 2015. Their next batch of outlaw anthems.

On Dec 24 2015 the band released their "The Answer" ! The latest song off Their upcoming album being produced by Joey Z (Life Of Agony, Zire's War)! "As always, the NEW KILLCODE album promises to deliver a wide variety of sounds and colors that everyone has grown to love and expect from the band".

On January 16, 2017 the band released a lyric video for their latest single called "Shot".

The new album is due to make it's appearance early 2017!!  Check out the songs that have made the cut to be included!!

Krallice - Prelapsarian (Full-Length Album - 2016) - Bandcamp Stream

Eight years, five albums, and two EPs in, the New York-based outfit Krallice have long since shut up purists about their “hipster black metal.” Their four-man, post-structural assembly line runs at a breakneck pace, taking great care to balance the intricate (Colin Marston and Mick Barr’s interlocking riffs, Lev Weinstein’s head-spinning polyrhythms) with the incendiary (best exemplified by Barr and Nick McMaster’s shared, animalistic vocal duties; the former’s a screaming eagle, the latter a growling hellhound). The quartet frequently capitalize on the element of surprise; Krallice’s last two releases—2015’s Ygg Huur and last winter’s Hyperion EP—dropped spontaneously, a pair of inter-dimensional rifts masquerading as albums, far from the hum of the hype machine. Early last month, the band opened the portal once more to announce their sixth album Prelapsarian, subsequently released sans fanfare on the Winter Solstice.

Upon first glance, Prelapsarian, which the band recorded last summer, may not seem like much. Comprising four tracks and thirty-five minutes, the LP stands just a smidge taller than its predecessor, and sports a similarly dense stylistic template. Fans familiar with the stop-go surges and antiphonal touches of old will undoubtedly appreciate “Transformation Chronicles,” “Conflagration”, and “Lotus Throne,” the album’s staggered, epic triad.

Hyperion’s copious lyrical references to mythology, astrophysics, and nihilistic philosophy belied an obsession with the cosmic. Prelapsarian, by contrast, is the product of a band firmly planted on terra firma, racing against the doomsday clock. Post-election anxiety runs rampant, manifested in everything from the title (derived from the age of humanity’s primordial, Edenic innocence, the original “good old days” before Adam and Eve shared a snack and sealed humanity’s grim fate), to the razed-earth panoramas framing the doomy, eight-minute-long dirge “Conflagration.” - Source (

The musical style of Krallice could be described as fairly clean by black metal standards, with long, dynamic songs containing some distinctive progressive metal influences. They've been compared to Weakling in some ways, although their music focuses much more on progressive song structures and less on the dissonant droning of Weakling's Dead as Dreams.

An Autumn For Crippled Children - Eternal (Full-Length Album - 2016) - Bandcamp Stream

Eternal, the most recent work by Dutch band An Autumn for Crippled Children, is a great, sensational and astonishing album, that certainly has everything to be considered a masterpiece. With a powerful, effective and expansive mixture of post-black metal, black metal and experimental music – sometimes flirting with a more traditional approach to rock’n’roll as well – Eternal is a majestic and exceedingly artistic album. With ten tracks, being them eternal youth, i will never let you die, on fire, farewell, this small space you occupied is so empty now, you have been in the shadows for so long, days of sleep, swallowed by night's despair, cloud mood and matters of the heart, An Autumn for Crippled Children’s music is characterized by a proficient and prominent poetic melancholy, that drives the listener all the way throughout their music, being efficiently melodic, but never slow. With beautiful melodies, and songs with a “normal” duration – which means that these songs are not as long as usually seen in most post-black metal albums –, even the brand “post-black metal” possibly does not apply here, despite some elements, and most prominently, the vocals.

With the beauty of their own style, and a highly solid stream of pungent melodies, traditional rock’n’roll elements are everywhere to be seen, as the basic axis of their music. With a poetic beauty that accurately surfaces as the mostly sincere and complacent driving force, serenity and resilience appears to be the greatest components of Autumn for Crippled Children’s music. A beautiful album that really transcends all explanations, Eternal erodes, transforms and dissipates tranquility and calmness, by the fluidity of a sound that seems to be an everlasting light. Resounding with an incredible sense of balance and equilibrium, Eternal is a masterpiece, that should transcend the underground boundaries, and achieve mainstream status, for such a marvelous state of the art groundbreaking work cannot be known only to a few thousand insiders.

With powerful lines of guitar, sincerely scathing vocals, enchanting harmonies, dilaceration and majestic rhythms, and a fantastic convergence of all of its elements, Eternal is material for major record companies, and worldwide distribution. Having never listened to something so incredibly poetic, intense and artistic on the genre, Eternal is an album that literally made me speechless. An enormous and gigantic work of musical expression, An Autumn for Crippled Children certainly is today oe of the most promising acts in the Dutch underground scene, having such a powerful and compelling degree of originality, that it will be a major waste not to thrown them to a higher place, where they definitely belong.

Eternal is a majestic album. Certainly one of the best albums of 2016, it is destined to be hailed as a major masterpiece, and an impressive artistic achievement, for its ability to create sound at the rhythm of stars and galaxies. A phenomenal monument, it is the indefinite, ethereal and perfect embodiment of a priceless musical legacy. (Source:

“Eternal” album is planned was released on  October 27th, 2016. The main theme’s on this album is the the usual deadly mixture of decay, sense of loss & scent of death. Rotten, polluted & abrasive as AAFCC are able to deliver.

The band fall into the murky subgenre of post Black Metal meets Shoegaze but have an uncanny knack of being able to set themselves aside from their contemporaries by throwing in subtle melodic passages and incredibly catchy riffs, that many other projects in this field are simply unable to replicate. Opening track, ‘Eternal Youth’ is a good example of everything that the band are attempting to achieve with this album, an almost dream like and uplifting background wall of guitar and synth, pushing forward the deliberately undecipherable vocal to wreak havoc with your emotions. So often I come across albums by bands that have all the elements individually but for whatever reason are falling short by not getting it all together to form the finished article. AAFCC on this album, and indeed previous releases , come across as masters of weaving the perfect blend of depressive imagery and feeling, decay and hopelessness, ultimately producing a wonderful  web of soaring and thought provoking music. A trick that maybe someone like Alcest are able to achieve but to be honest, I can not think of many others

Media Reviews

- "The band again elevates themselves far beyond their previous effort by delivering a thrilling and poignant journey with their individualistic form of black metal." - Pure Grain Audio (Ratings 8.5/10).

- "If you can take the leap of faith and become immersed in this album, you will not be disappointed, from beginning to end, a faultless collection of sadness and despair, Music from black hearts for lost souls." - Planet Mosh (Ratings ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐).

"AAfCC have ripped out the sadness and vitriol from metal and the result is inoffensive and unexciting. In fact, “ripped” is too aggressive a verb. “Coaxed” perhaps. Or “elicited.” What remains is flat, uninspired and fails to resonate. Their music is best described as an indistinct haze of muted hopefulness but never has it been more indistinct nor muted." - Angry Metal Guy (Ratings 1.5/5).

"Eternal isn't a drastic departure from the band's recent offerings. But place it right next to the debut album Lost and the evolution is evident, with MCHL's furious shrieks being the last real link to black metal. It's due to this broadening of the band's soundscape that we can actually see AAFCC as a "band". What makes them special is that it does feel like a real ensemble without machines is playing beneath the music." - Sputnik Music (Ratings 3.5/5).

Mechina - As Embers Turn to Dust (Full-Length Album - 2017) - Bandcamp Stream

Mechina are an industrial groove metal sort of band. I say “sort of” because that doesn’t really begin to describe their sound. It is a mix of symphonic, science fiction, death metal, groove metal, electronic, and… just that nameless unique quality that many bands lack.

The band has defied the norm of metal and raised the standard for musical originality throughout the Midwest. With the mixture of precision inspired metal, symphonic melodies, creative and unorthodox lyrical content, and a plethora of intriguing yet intense atmospheres, Mechina has created a unique and unmatched presence in and around the Chicago area. Members reside out of Naperville, Geneva and Batavia, IL.

The band has two members: David Holch and Joe Tiberi. The wall of sound they create (mixing symphonic, electronic, and traditional instruments) is primarily created on the computer. For this reason, Mechina is not a touring band.

Even without the scifi-themed lyrics, Mechina's mixing of symphonies with electronic and heavy metal sounds has led some fans to refer to their style of music as "Mass Effect Metal", a reference to the series of video games.

Mechina are a band whose growth has been one of the most interesting to watch over the past few years. Few bands have been quite as ambitious as they have been with their music. Few have completely ignored whether or not they were going to be successful, and just went big anyway, but that is exactly what Mechina have done during their time as artists.

Starting out as a full band before eventually becoming the studio project of a couple of producers in the Chicago area, Mechina have already banged out a whole arc of albums — a conceptual trilogy told over three full discs and a smattering of singles — that have archived a whole universe constantly at war, ending with planets left barren and whole populations destroyed, played out over the soundtrack of an industrial/symphonic death band with a taste for eight-and-up-string poly-rhythmic guitar playing.

Over time, the band’s production has grown leaps and bounds, and as they’ve adopted characters into their story and adapted a new vocalist into the fold, they’ve created enough lore in their universe that someone actually took the time out of their day to try and establish a wiki site to keep track of all of it, one that I’ve already used liberally. While we haven’t quite hit Bal-Sagoth levels of craziness, I imagine Mechina could be reaching that point soon enough with their sci-fi, planet-destroying antics.

The band's music is very similar to the early Fear Factory, but what then is very different: it bombed in every respect, all forms of emotions creates and expands a new era of modern industrial metal. Yet it is inspirational rhythms, orchestral music and non-standard creative lyrical content, as well as many intriguing and intense passages in the parties. The atmosphere is obtained simply breathtaking!

For the last 5 years, one band has defied the norm of metal and continued the progression of musical originality throughout the Midwest. Music that bombards every sense, creates every form of emotion, and reinforces the new age of modern metal. With the mixture of precision inspired rhythms, orchestral melodies, creative and unorthodox lyrical content, and a plethora of intriguing and intense atmospheres, Mechina has created a unique presence in the future of metal.

They have their own original and unique style of playing music in this genre, so it is recommended to listen to them all to a single industrial fans.

On January 1st, 2017 they released their seventh full length album, As Embers Turn to Dust.  This album concludes the first half of a continuous story, started with our 2011 release of Conqueror.

The story told through Mechina's albums is titled "As Embers Turn to Dust". It is a century- and planetary-spanning story of man-made gods and city-sized machines called Titans. Mechina releases the story as full-length albums with a "single" between each album. These singles fill in missing pieces of the story and bridge the gap between albums. Mechina has a habit of releasing full-length albums on January 1 of each year and a single sometime during the summer.
