BIOGRAPHY
DEATH VOMIT was born in 2011 in the city of Curico (Chile) by Azazzel (guitar/ vocals) and Evil Escorzized (drums) influenced by ancient beasts with a grotesque, putrid and devastating sound in the vein of classic bands like Megaslaughter, Purtenance, Cancer, Merciless, Carbonized... recording their debut demo "Infestation" in 2012, released only on cassette format. Later on, bass player Tom "evil" Hill, who already played on the demo, joined the band as permanent member, followed by Sebastián Salce (guitar) as well, completing the line up and starting to create new tunes of the most violent and perverse Death/ Thrash for their debut album.
At the moment the band don't have any official website since they consider it doesn't fit on the band's philosophy and so far the only way to contact them is through Xtreem Music.
After breaking into the scene, within the new wave of Chilean bands devoted to the most dirty and putrid old school Death Metal, DEATH VOMIT have risen, by own right, as one of the most outstanding and promising acts from their homeland after the release of their debut demo "Infestation" in 2012 and the Split CD in 2013 with the colleagues UTTERTOMB. Having always professed their admiration for the ancient Scandinavian Death Metal, DEATH VOMIT haven't limited themselves to create a lame copy of these bands, mistake where most are failing, but they have managed to create a more personal sound, blending rottenness and darkness reaching a truly evil and intense result at the same time sounding genuine.
Chilean DEATH VOMIT released their debut album that entitled "Gutted by Horrors". Release date for DEATH VOMIT's debut album "Gutted by Horrors" was November 14, 2015 on CD format, and will be released on 12"LP during the following months, both through Xtreem Music.
