After performing more than 150 concerts across America in support of their acclaimed Prosthetic debut "Slave To The Sword," the Los Angeles-based extreme shred quartet EXMORTUS have prepared their most triumphant offering to date, "Ride Forth"! Named the city's "Best Metal Band" by LA Weekly, who described them as "a blistering blend of European-influenced, neo-classical thrash metal," EXMORTUS have displayed an insatiable thirst for dominating highways across the USA, with appearances alongside the likes of Marty Friedman, Sanctuary, Dark Tranquillity, Destruction, Krisiun and Flotsam & Jetsam in addition to high-profile appearances performing on a Virgin Mobile TV commercial, opening a minor league baseball game or playing during a arena football game.

EXMORTUS recently completed recording their next album, “Ride Forth” was recorded during a break in the band’s vigorous touring itinerary last year at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California. Featuring nine tracks filled with dominating riffs and gut-wrenching vocals, the effort contains the group’s heaviest and most virtuosic material to date. Once again produced by Zach Ohren (Immolation, Suffocation) and featuring epic artwork by Philip Lawvere (Celtic Frost, Kreator), "Ride Forth" sees EXMORTUS crank up the shred like never before. The album was released on January 8, 2016. The Los Angeles-based, neoclassical metal-inspired extreme shred quartet Exmortus  further their claim that "metal is king" in early 2016 with their blistering new album, Ride Forth. 

The follow-up to their acclaimed 2014 effort “Slave To The Sword,” which was praised by OC Weekly for it’ combination of “thrash riffs, fretboard-searing solos and neo-classical technique,” the album features nine blistering tracks recorded by Zack Ohren (Immolation, Suffocation). “Ride Forth” is a speedy, shred-inducing.

EXMORTUS — who performed more than 150 shows in support of “Slave To The Sword” with the likes of Dark Tranquillity, Marty Friedman, Destruction and Arsis, among others — will return to the road in January alongside Warbringer and Enforcer.  

With a 44-date tour booked to kick off 2016, EXMORTUS are ready to "Ride Forth" throughout the year with their powerful, virtuosic brand of heavy metal.
