BIOGRAPHY
Aço Negro is a metal band, originating from the Baixada Fluminense, more precisely the city of Duque de Caxias formed in 2012, by Alef Deus (ex-Lemuria) (guitar), Nathan Henry (bass), Lucio França (ex-Mistério da Morte) (vocals) and Jorge Ferraz (drummer).
It all started when Lario Diniz bass guitarist Alef called of God to throw a RPG table, this time the band's bassist had just left the Mistério da Morte band and was looking for a new band. The conversation between the two ended up rolling into the music business, as Alef did not play RPG, and Alef just showing some of his solo work and the interest in forming a band. And it was in this way that the two decided to join in the embryo that would become the Aço Negro.
That same day, Lario Diniz, came into contact with drummer Vinicius, a musician friend who plays professionally in various bands and will work with him at the beginning of the Mistério da Morte, a meeting was scheduled for the day 18/05/2012. On this day the three confirmed their willingness to start a band, with only vocalist. .
They spent two days until the bass player could get in touch with the singer Lucio France, musician who has had several bands of our underground, the two have a view of the underground and on very similar bands, this short conversation was enough that singer entered the band, thus forming the first official formation of the band Aço Negro.
Things went well for a month, until the commitments with other bands of Vinicios drummer started to prevent the presence of the same in the tests, after some discussion, he decided it best to continue with their other bands, as they provided income drummer, and so Aço Negro even though it is something natural, thus maintaining the friendship between the musicians, the output of Vinicios brought a long delay the band, as the search for a new drummer lasted almost a year, to the point of putting the Lucio France on drums, thus decreasing the delay of the tests.
During this one year, between several drummers without compromise, guitarist Alef Deus invited the band drummer Karlin Souza, however the same can not be because of personal problems, however, shortly after the show at the event Hell Bells 11 / 05/13 and confirming the need for a drummer, since the ability to play and sing Lucio França was not yet fully developed, Karlin Souza can solve your personal problems, thereby accepting to join the band, thus becoming the drummer final of Aço Negro.
On Jun 13, 2014 they released their debut EP (Demo) its a 4 tracks album. Today the band runs through the underground events, showing its unique sound for all those who want to hear a quality metal, packed by letters that talk about feelings that each of us have, without being tied to religion or ideology.
Making use of various heavy metal sheds in search of a sound that expose all sound influences of each member. Without worrying about labels and clichés of genres. Combining this with a lyrical vein in Portuguese dealing with social unrest, ideological and existential conflict. The band use various melodic metal strands to form a modern and cohesive metal, combined with a lyrical piece with social unrest, ideological and existential. Here at last came the first single after several changes of line up. This work marks the recording debut of the current line up, in addition to the original members Alef D. Deus (guitar) and Lucio France (vocals), now has the presence of Jorge Ferraz (drums) and Nathan Henry (bass).
