BIOGRAPHY
South Of Hell is an "oldschool death metal band" from France. Originally built by 3 childhood friends, Olivier (singer), Far...gio (Guitar) and Laurent (Bassist), South Of hell has seen several line up changes through years and finally managed to gather a complete line up, joined by Sophian (drums) and Nicolas (Guitar).
"Each of us has diferent musical influences which allow the band to create its very own death metal. A mix between oldschool bands such as Death, Canibal corpse, Hypocrisy and some more modern bands like Dying Fetus. Our goal is not to produce something technic or hard to play, we only want to create something powerful and catchy which make your head turn as a fucking helicopter propeller!!

Back in 2006, South Of Hell recorded its first demo entitled HELLFERNUM at La Grolles studio. All the sound ingeneering procees was handled by Steph.B except for the last song Fides Obscura which was recorded at Laforge studio for a compilation 4 years later. Theses songs are what the band composed at its very begining; with the first line up and the death metal they made at this time was much more oldschool and traditionnal than what they do nowaday.
Our first album "RISING OF HATE" has been recorded and mixed by Jerôme Salomon during august 2014 and the mastering process was handled by Anton.
This album mainly gathers what we composed from 2008 to 2012. Through this album you'll hear diffents styles of compositions going from oldschool riffs to modern blastbeat death metal chords.
This album is a picture of how the band evolved since we stabilised the line up and it exposes the differents steps of our identity creation. You will find a wide range of metal style in it and it doesn't matter if you are more into death,melodic death metal, death brutal, trash, black metal or any other genre, because you'll obviously find something for you listening RISING OF HATE!
But what you have to keep in mind when it comes to South Of Hell is that our music never stop evolving and maturing.... so while you're reading these lines about us, we already composed the major part of our next release which is gonna bring us to another level ! We stick to our way of doing things but in a more brutal way.
