Biography
A brutal mix of traditional Metal meets 90’s Hardcore type sounds / meets a Stoner in Thrash alley!Sick of all the nuwave stuff ?! THIS IS IT !After exploring various aspects of heavy metal, the members of WORSELDER brought the band towards a style that is more and more their own and modern, based on solid rhythms, progressive arrangements and diverse vocals, all of which serve a musical style made for the stage.
Carried by an efficient rhythm section and powerful lead vocals, WORSELDER claim influences such as DevilDriver, Pantera, Coroner or Machine Head... mostly hard hitting
metal carried by strong riffs, three dimensional and with a touch of melody, one could call it “neo-thrash-fusion”. Far from the traditional nail wielding leather clad biker look, WORSELDER refuse to belong to any established category, and have a 100% authentic approach, as much in their attitude as in their music, proudly taking on their Pyrenean origins!
After a series of gigs which led the band to open for bands such as Firewind, Huntress, Dagoba, Black Bomb A, Primal Age and Nothingness, Worselder brought out a 1st 7 track self produced EP: Where we come from, in 2011, available for free download on Bandcamp.

Where We Come From (EP - 2013)
Basically, Worselder rely on a fusion style that Surname as
"melting-pot" metal, groove metal mixing with stoner, and the themes
seem truly pointed to the concerts and to a high interaction with the
public.
With this record, the band seems to have matured and has a consistency and musical tessitura pretty straightforward and direct born of the most iconic metal roots. In lyrical terms, the EP seems to be based on a profound social awareness, a warning to the various problems affecting modern times.
Musically, the sound should appeal to fans of the groove and nineties thrash metal, with bands such as Coroner, Pantera, Testament, Machine Head and Grip Inc. to appear on the list of references, and the musicians do not also hide fondness for newer bands as DevilDriver, Mastodon and Gojira. With only three songs, this EP makes us the expectation for what the Worselder able to produce a higher breath format.
