"The Outsider" is the debut album that can be described as a 'cosmic horror', heavily inspired by horror literature, in the vein of HP Lovecraft, even though not all of the songs are directly linked to the writer; other songs (lyrically speaking) deal with the apocalyptic future that humanity will face and the human condition of madness and fear. Musically, this is thought to be very black music, symphonic, cinematic, with some other musical influences, but with a very clear line to follow: horror and darkness. Open-minded fans and listeners can expect a journey through what I call a clear message, stating that "humanity is worthless and will know its end briefly."
"This particular release is heavily influenced by bands such as Septicflesh, Behemoth, Rotting Christ, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Therion, Ihsahn, Opeth and Sigh from the beginning - the latter being the strongest influence, because of their creativity and not being afraid of experiment with various types of music. In the future, even when the music is black, I want to try more experiments, so any expression of art that shows creativity will be an inspiration."
One of the most important elements on the music by The Outsider is the orchestra, the orchestral arrangements made for all the songs in the album are meant to add drama and an overwhelming sensation of horror. Each song has different kinds of arrangements for the different sections of the orchestra, and even though human ear is not able to perceive each and every instrument or section clearly, it perceive them as a whole. "Orchestral Renditions from the Unknown" is the name given to the upcoming studio release by The Outsider and the songs are actually the ones from the debut album, but taking out the distorted electric guitars, bass, drums and almost all vocals in order to boost the orchestral music and make it sound in all its majestic nature playing all the original horrid and dark orchestral arrangements of the songs. But "Orchestral Renditions from the Unknow" is not an ordinary "orchestral version" album, it is also a creativity and versatility statement. Each song contains not only the orchestral parts, but other arrangements that belong to other music genres like flamenco, electronic music, twelve-tone serialism, scales and instruments from the middle and far east, as well as some experimentation with vocals, percussions and noise.
"I want to continue to create music, make it grow and reach other countries. In Mexico there is not much space for extreme metal, so I want to take my music to other places where this genre has a better chance of being heard. The band is planning to physically launch Orchestral Renditions from the Unknown, "which is a complementary CD with orchestral songs and rearranged from the first album, and then maybe release material that was not used on the album. I am currently working on new songs for the second album. Making concerts is not on the brief plans. " - Commented the Band.
