"Howling North" is a project, founded in 2009, in the city of Syktyvkar. The only participant is Artem "A.D." Dmitriev.
Through the prism of music are transmitted such topics as: nature and its phenomena, mental and psychological experiences, the philosophy of what is happening. The project is mainly instrumental and is written in the Atmospheric Black Metal style.
In 2013, Demo released an album, which includes three instrumental tracks.
In 2016 came out: the single "Citynism" and EP album "My own Black". The single is written with a specific, even more experimental style, using a combination of genre techniques Hard Core, Doom, Black Metal. The EP consists of five tracks, using vocals in the fourth track.
In November 2017 the album "Immersion" was released, consisting entirely of instrumental compositions. The album raised the level of sound quality.
At this time the project lives and develops, new material is being written.
