BIOGRAPHY
In 2000, they started with sympho-black, until 2003 the band actively performed with concerts. After a five-year break, DESPAIR returned to the scene in a renewed line-up. Now it's not just a band playing orchestral black, it's an entertaining show with fencing, dancing and fire. Two vocals (male groul and female opera), symphonic keyboard parts are combined with heavy guitar riffs and drums, and from 2012, the band receives bagpipes, adding folk elements.
In April 2013, the first album In memoriam was released, in memory of our beginning. DESRAIR is a desperate desire for the Perfect. This is the magic of beautiful music, and we give it to everyone who opens the heart of a fairy tale. And let it not be fashionable and unprofitable, but what is fashion in comparison with the Dream? She comes and goes, but the Dream remains).
On April 18, 2017 DESPAIR released the second studio album Ancient source! The presentation of the album was on April 22, 2017 in the Moscow club Rock House within the framework of the festival.
On the turn of the chiliads, the layers of time broke releasing the music of Despair - a group performing in symphonic black metal style. Since that many things have changed but the constant inspirer, composer and keymaster - Lady Madlen and in 2012, before the Apocalypse came to the land, the group formed its ultimate cast.
