Impenitence was found in 2007 in Sofia by Yasen, Julian and Dimitar. After months of rehearsals, doing covers and exploring each others minds, the musical core was joined by Lazar on vocals. The band continued to push the boundaries of their own musical capabilities and tastes. Very soon some songs were created.
Several extreme live shows were performed during 2008-2010. In 2010 Lazar left the band. After some auditions in the beginning of 2011 Todor (Dimholt) joined the crew as vocalist. In the end of 2013 Boyan joined the band to fill for second guitar.
The band released their debut album named “Monuments of Contempt” on October 31, 2016 . The album consists of 12 tracks lasting a little above 43 minutes. The album was recorded and mixed at Pacific Studio, Sofia and mastered at West West Side Music, New York by Alan Douches (Deicide, Hate Eternal, Death, Akercocke, etc.). The artwork is done by Timothée Mathelin (ww.futurorg.com).
The band's music is modern death metal with influences from brutal, old school, technical, progressive, black and other weird popular extreme music.
