BIOGRAPHY
Hailing from the depths of Helsinki, Finland since 2008. Assemble the Chariots combines elements of technical death/black metal, symphonic orchestrations and a brutal crushing live performance!
Assemble the Chariots' five-song debut EP Reflections released with the original line-up in fall 2009. Reflections EP got it's radio premiere in DJ Beerman Show at TopRock Radio (UK).
After numerous line-up changes and hard work and struggle the band released The Sulphur Voids EP in late 2012. A Finnish webzine Kaaoszine published a preview of The Sulphur Voids and it was chosen for a Demo of the Month in a Finnish web magazine Imperium, third best demo release in 2012 in The Duckcore's voting Duckcore Underground Metal Awards, Kings of Europe, a band of the month in All Metal Music Promotions's voting and it gained a lot of interest from a numerous internet bloggers and magazines (BeheadingTheTraitor etc.).
All this was followed with a reputation as a remarkable artist and a lot of live shows were booked; Sharing the stage with Circle of Contempt (Sumerian Records, USA), Artificial Heart (Spinefarm Records), Brymir (Spinefarm Records), Church of the Dead (Stay Heavy Records), Damnation Plan (Coroner Records) and many more. Assemble the Chariots played their first big outdoor festival show in June 2013 at Nummirock Metal Festival, Finland (Children of Bodom, Wintersun, Chelsea Grin etc.)
After a long production, Engulfed by Sun (the first release of World Architects EP) was released in spring 2014. The band got Eyal Levi, Audiohammer Studios (USA) to do the mixing and Alan Douches, West West Side Music (USA) for the mastering. Engulfed by Sun gained a huge amount of good and positive feedback so the band was booked on Nummirock Metal Festival 2014 (Suicide Silence, Behemoth etc.). Engulfed by Sun was also included in Artery Recordings’ Spotify playlist.
Assemble the Chariots has been determinedly shaping and creating it’s fullest form by composing as good and solid songs as possible by trying to reach the full vision of the sound and the wholeness of the songs and the storyline. A three-song-EP "World Architects" was released 1st of August 2015 after a huge production and strict composing. The story behind "World Architects” EP have evolved all away from ”The Sulphur Voids'” blasphemous worldview into the bands idea of the origins and future of man.
”World Architects” was mixed by Eyal Levi, Audiohammer Studios (USA), mastered by Alan Douches, West West Side Music (USA) and recorded by Jarno Hänninen (D-Studio) and Taneli Kaalikoski. Taneli also played the bass for the EP and later he joined the band as a full time member. Right after releasing ”World Architects” the band played it’s biggest club show yet at Nosturi, Helsinki as a support act for Suicide Silence.
Assemble the Chariots is certainly one of the most interesting bands in Finland and is currently endorsed by Impression Cymbals and Sabre Guitars.
