KILLCODE - "The Answer"- Official Music video

KILLCODE is a five piece band based in New York City. Their unique sound is a product of their diverse influences and has been described as "Southern infused Rock/ Metal with modern vocals." KILLCODE’s songs are hooky super charged sing along Anthems with BIG Guitars and Driving Rhythms.

With all members coming from established projects prior to KILLCODE, the band quickly raised eyebrows and landed on bills with the likes of Godsmack & Sevendust. KILLCODE also provided main support to Brett Scallions on the Re Fueled East Coast tour.

KILLCODE released their new album, "The Answer", on February 20, 2018. KILLCODE combines southern-infused rock/metal with modern-day vocals to create a unique style that boasts hooky, super-charged anthems, huge guitars and driving rhythms that send your adrenaline pumping the second you hear them!

KILLCODE consists of Tom Morrissey (lead vocals), Chas (guitar, vocals), D.C Gonzales (guitar), Erric Bonesmith (bass/vocals) and Rob Noxious (drums).

"We really enjoyed recording 'The Answer' with producer Joey Z (guitarist for LIFE OF AGONY) and feel it's our strongerst record to date," said Morrissey. "It continues to deliver on our promise to bring you hard, melodic rock that is undeniably catchy, while still bringing the riffs and guitar work that we feel has been missing in todays modern world." - Commmented the band.

KILLCODE's future is bright and they are doing a great job of carrying the torch for the new generation. They aren't showing any signs of slowing down and are ready and able to take their rightful place alongside the biggest rock acts out there.

KILLCODE represents the present and the future of the New York underground Hard Rock music scene thanks to their ability of creating music that is both fresh and fun. With recent concerts with TWISTED SISTER, ADRENALINE MOB and THE DIRTY PEARLS, KILLCODE have definitely proven that they are ways more than a glorified local band!

Moonshade - Sun Dethroned (Full-Length Album - 2018) - Bandcamp Stream

Moonshade offers a unique perspective regarding Extreme Music. The sound of the band is rooted in the Gothemburg style of Death Metal, a basis where the band includes a wide variety of different influences giving as result the personal sound of Moonshade. Formed in 2010, these 5 portuguese combo have performed in well known festivals such as Vagos Open Air and Pax Julia Metal Fest just with the release of one demo and one EP in their backs. The debut “Sun Dethroned” was released on October 26th through Art Gates Records worldwide.

Sun Dethroned is a conceptual work that deals with a two-sided personification of the human condition, in the form of two romantically involved main characters that simbolize the abstract concepts of “good” and “evil”: Lenore and God of Nothingness, the latter represented in the album cover. Throughout this piece a story is told of which the most important events are the death of Lenore (“good”), that lead God of Nothingness (“evil”) towards a spiralling descent into wrath and madness, eventually consuming all reality, including himself, finally abandoning his pitiful existence in a sea of regrets where, in essence, he mourns his lost love and mourns the innocence of his madness. In short, Sun Dethroned functions as a parabola that highlights the need for balance while firmly stating the cost of its absence.

Iota and the Riffaheads || Impasse || [Videoclip Oficial]

After "Insomnio" came on, Iota introduced his B-side, Impasse. Again, accompanied by a video clip in which the artist himself takes care of all the audiovisual processes.

On Impasse, he continues to submerge himself in dark environments, although, on this occasion, orchestrations, choirs, strings, winds and synthesizers accompany the typical elements of a Rock concept, resulting in a theme, Impasse, atypical structure, suggestive sonority and intense emotions; endowing it with an unusual musical and artistic aesthetic. Although, far from seeking an exaggerated grandiloquence.

Co-produced by Iota and Juan Pedro Navarro in the Ibersonic studios. Recorded, mixed and mastered in Ibersonic (2018).

Irreversible Mechanism - Immersion (Full-Length Album - 2018)

The unsung masters of progressive death metal return! Coming off the band's hyped debut, Irreversible Mechanism not only won the Best Guitar Performance award in their native Belarusian annual music awards, they were also hailed internationally as the next coming of Necrophagist, putting them firmly at the top of the list of tech death newcomers.

Irreversible Mechanism's sophomore album propels the band leagues forward, ascending effortlessly between intense progressive death metal and extraterrestrial ambiance.

The band's signature symphonic sound builds like a freight train through a sea of terror and reflection. 'Immersion' marks the arrival of unstoppable fury, entering with a masterful sense of space, clarity, melody, and emotion.

The additions of clean vocal highlights appear with tasteful application as a counterpoint, vast ambient soundscapes paint an alien world for the band to traverse and destroy, epic guitar leads soar over the writhing maelstrom of beauty and chaos, and electronic pulses creep up which offer a breath of calm.

Adding Dan Presland (Ne Obliviscaris) on drums for the album was the final touch. The result is a contender for the best album in today's progressive death metal world.

On September 14th, the band released their second full-length album "IMMERSION" via Blood Music.

Irreversible Mechanism “Immersion” stands as a bold statement, challenging and eclipsing genre heavyweights Rivers of Nihil and Fallujah, and ushering in a new era of progressive and technical death metal. "

Andrew Parmón who comments on the track:

This is the title song of the album and in some way it's a reflection of the full record, of it's dynamic range and it's musicality. It's also a culmination of the storytelling too. About so necessary spark from the outside of the box, which gives us hope and makes us to find the inner tools to escape, the only way to survive, whatever it takes, even through death.

On this record we also worked with Sami Raatikainen on mixing and mastering, our good friend since "Infinite Fields" and true professional, who really helped us to collect these musical pieces into one solid monolith. And also with great Dan Presland (Ne Obliviscaris), who recorded just so astonishing, so powerful drums.

It's really nice to have guys like this in your team.

Vlad Nekrash (guitarist) comments:

"Our new record 'Immersion' differs from the our debut album, by being full of experiments in composing. We are far from being the same as in the beginning. We wanted to discover new ways to ourselves and to show how we want to sound right now. Our new music allow us to go beyond the borders of simple and understandable things, it helps to evolve and not to stay the same. Every track of the new album is a new level for me personally and for the whole band."

Andrew Parmon (guitarist/vocalist):

“It’s a concept album, as our first record, but this time I think it's more deep and personal. We tried to cover the themes of the fundamental laws of the universe, isolation, time, reality,freedom. Being on different sides of the conflict (if we could say so). Story about the survival in the world without which you can’t exist, but rules of which you refuse to accept.

Talking about musical aspect I would say it's far more experimental. I don't know if it made it better or worse, but it was something we needed. And I'm so excited about it because whole band put so much effort in it, so much creativity and we're very proud of what we've done.”

Pavel Semin (bassist) comments:

"In new album we decided to move from orchestral sounding to explore other ways to create atmosphere. We add more guitar effects, layers, and synths. The album also more holistic, like a single piece divided into parts."

Ilya Studenok (vocalist) comments:

"As a person with a different music background, I’ve used a bit of my own, different approach when making this album. In a certain way this is actually what this record was missing before. When you make things more complex and a bit out of box leaving a certain stylistic foundation, you should get the accents accurate, intriguing and just right. Aside from the instrumental part, the vocals also been brought to a new level. The new record turned out to be sounding quite unexpectedly but of course more interesting."
