Establishing its place in the USA as being a powerful and unexpected force of symphonic chaos, Scytherium continues to evolve further into darker realms with melodies and mysteries.

As a true blend of metal and avant garde concepts, the music hits many dimensions of the ethereal plane. From the dramatic keyboard lines to the cascading melodic guitars, Scytherium has a haunted yet undeniably vengeful sound. The band has proven itself to be a wellspring of fully self produced music and has successfully overseen every aspect of its art form from its inception. This control has proven essential to Scytherium's growth and evolution.

Mother Death (2011) was an exercise in nightmarish discovery. As the band's sound began to organically form, the final result of the recording sessions yielded an atmospheric debut opus with a raw symphonic voice and bold musical statements. These seeds would grow further yet, to push Scytherium's sound to new and forsaken places while securing Scytherium's ability to self produce and create material.

Once again, crafted uncompromisingly, The Midnight Cadenza (2013) is a step deeper into the void, revealing a more intense and melodic barrage of sound with sharper production and a more direct melodic statement. Elegant guitar melodies are matched by lonely classical piano along with orchestral shadows to tell a grim tale. A doomy shriek adds depraved poetry to the mix as crushing drums attack from the darkness. Shrouded in wooded macabre and dead midnight gardens, this album serves to move Scytherium to the next level of their evolution as a symphonic metal force. This album is the second enthralling installment of dynamic guitar melodies, haunting orchestrations and fear inducing vocalizations in Scytherium's line of extreme symphonic metal albums. It all started in late 2010:  ESPERA XIII was created by Renan Brito as a One Man Band and side project. The first sound drafts appeared at the end of that year and then become  "escandalo Demo 2011", a raw demo recording which had Niko T. as a drummer.

In 2012, it was recorded the second demo entitled Thy Great Expedition: with better sound and some remixing sessions even in 2013. The project, after the second self-released and yet as One Man Band, began to aspire to live performances. Then, in 2013, some friends were called to play this brutal Death / Black with atmospheric influences and some tests were performed.

The year 2013 was completely filled with hard work: There were intense sessions of pre-production and recording of the upcoming album, set for release in 2015. The more the project worked on new songs plus was the will of playing live and so It happened: In April 2014 the team has been set and the band was consolidated.

On April 22, 2014, launches web lyric video for their single The Great Dark Spot, and over the following months comes in many different houses of Sao Paulo to promote the release. From April to October 2014 the band creates the Great Dark Spot The Tour, presenting and organizing events in Paulista underground and having the opportunity to tap into best-known houses like Manifesto and Sound Space.

The  Alliance EP arrives on October 31, 2014, released via web through Bandcamp and Youtube. With the tracklist of 3 songs 'Alliance, Leviathan and End', the EP gave the fans more for an idea of ​​how will be the debut album which was arrived in 2015 in physical format.

The release date in Brazil, April 22, was not chosen at random, is also part of this whole universe that the group set out to create, after all this day is celebrated the discovery of Brazil and Earth Day, key terms within the ESPERA XIII’s lyrical content.

"'Unexpected Southern Lights' was produced by guitarist Renan Brito and had the mixing and mastering made in Germany by the renowned producer Andy Classen in his studio Stage One. It was hard work and time consuming, more than two years of production. All limits were put to the test, extreme perfectionism to be able to deliver quality work to the listener. Crow Black Sky is a black metal band from Cape Town, South Africa, and has been active since 2009. In April 2009, Crow Black Sky was formed by Gideon Lamprecht, Kean Malcolmson, and Stephen Spinas. They were joined by vocalist Ryan Higgo soon thereafter, and their first live appearance took place later that year in July. After a series of auditions, the band was joined by Lawrence Jaeger (Wings of Aggression, The Broken Result) on drums, and Chris Gilbert (Dogs of War) on guitar.

The band entered the recording studio in February 2010, and began work on their debut album, "Pantheion", which was entirely self-produced. The album was officially released on 18 December 2010, and was well received by many international critics. However, the band has mentioned that they consider it to be more of a demo release than anything else. In response to the praise received, a music video for the song 'Stars of God' was released in December 2012.

CROW BLACK SKY’s debut album, 'Pantheion', had such a massive impact that it gained the band over a hundred thousand fans worldwide in a matter of months, making it one of the most successful metal bands to ever have hailed out of South Africa...

The album garnered critical acclaim from a host of international reviewers, praising the album as, for example, “…the greatest way to blend Amon Amarth, Opeth, and Behemoth.”

Musically, the album is based on a unique style: drawing influence from throughout the extreme metal spectrum and occasionally utilizing progressive, classical and acoustic elements, 'Pantheion' holds a balance between skilled musicianship, atmosphere, intricate riff-work and a heavy foundation of 'blackened metal' laid down by three seven-string guitarists.

"The writing, recording, and production of this album has been one hell of an ambitious and exciting undertaking. Along with building the recording environment one piece at a time, we set out on a seemingly-impossible course to write interesting and truly original music, influenced by the diversity of the many genres on the opposite ends of the world of music.

The atmospheres of the different songs drift between foreboding despair, crushing victory, godless arrogance, composed humility, lost love, magnificent power, and heartless betrayal. The lyrics are also based on many different ideas, such as historical battles where the victors were against all odds, ancient cataclysmic earthly and mythical events, the duty to abandon love and life in service to the homeland, and the individual's dismal pilgrimage toward religious corruption or from religious confinement."

Crow Black Sky was booked for a national tour in support of international death metallers Kataklysm in May 2011, but the tour was subsequently cancelled.

The band has announced that a second album is well underway, despite significant lineup changes. The lineup currently consists of Gideon Lamprecht, Ryan Higgo, Lawrence Jaeger and Brad Saunders.

A remastered version of 'Pantheion' was released for free download in January 2012.

On stage, CROW BLACK SKY delivers monolithic live performances that are considered utterly awe-inspiring spectacles, which easily envelop any metal audience in a shroud of magic entrancement.

Stygian Ascent - Memories (EP - 2013) - Bandcamp Stream

Like any other band's history this one begins with a couple of guys dream about being able to make a living on what they enjoy most - making music.

In late autumn 2011 the young men, Bill, Sebastian and Joseph decided to form a metal band. The sub-genre was still to be decided, but they knew it would be hard and melodic. Bill began his musical career as an early teenager, but at that time drums was his instrument. Through the years Bill grew incrementally passion for stringed instruments up and he started his guitar career. Bill also had another strong attribute: he was good at growling. He practiced up his voice, both for clean singing and screaming vocals. Currently, Bill is playing all the guitars and sings on the album.

Sebastian started playing drums as a 12-year old at a music school. The regular and tightly controlled practice sessions didn't suit him , so after two years he quit music school to learn to play on his own. Sebastian plays drums on all releases.

Early 2011: Bill and Sebastian got to know each other through Bill's brother, Axel, who was a good friend of Sebastian. They began joke around about start playing music together, but it soon became apparent that none of them actually were joking and both really wanted to start play in band. It would take some time for them to actually form the band, but in the fall of 2011 they were getting close. Since Bill could play guitar and sing and Sebastian played drums they needed now only a bassist.

Joseph met Sebastian when they started in the same class in high school and their passion for music was something that made them become good friends. Joseph has his whole life seen the drums as his primary instrument. Sebastian suggested that Joseph would learn to play bass in order to play with him and Bill. Said and done, Joseph bought a bass and an amplifier.

Spring 2012: Bill, Sebastian and Joseph now had a couple of songs at the time and decided to record one of them (The 23rd Psalm) in a studio (SoundPeaQ, run by Petri Kuusisto, Carnal Forge), which was in the same building as the one they were rehearsing in. The recording of the demo took 2 days to complete and the three music-making youths were happy with what they accomplished. Good response was received and the band thought this would be the start of something big.

It took some time for the band to get going again but when the autumn came, the three friends knew that it was time to do something. A few intense months of rehearsing resulted, in that the band was ready with four new songs. They decided that the songs were good enough to be recorded in the studio. The band once again contacted Petri Kuusisto and got excellent help from him with studio work. After four months of hard work in the studio the album was finished, and they were as happy they could be.

The album "Memories" was released March 6, 2013, and it has been a HUGE response. It recieved a 5 of 5 raing in "skull banger media" review. Writers wrote:  "'Memories" contains five songs, all together making it to 30 minutes of pure and talented melodic death metal. This is exactly the main reason why I love  Swedish music: they just know how to do it! "Songs That are results of careful composing and hard training. They make me bang my head in my living room, playing my air guitar and singing along, eventhough I can not sing"

The stellar songwriting That ties this band together helps to specimen That Stygian Ascent are ready to take over the international scene.  Stygian Ascent pulls you into Their beautiful music and does not let go. Memories is one of the most gripping albums to come out of the Swedish scene in Recent years. In Conclusion, Stygian Ascent is a magnificent band who have released what will probably end up being my favorite melodic death metal album of 2013.

Zé Beato was born in Huambo, a city located in the Angolan central plateau and grew between Benguela and Lobito. She started singing at 13 and 17 learned the first guitar chords and since then has always lived with this music.With ten-year career, he has played in various stages and contexts in Angola, Namibia and Portugal.

Zé Beato is co-founder of Orlei - Rock Festival Huambo, Odley and co-creator of the " Classic Meets Africa", that through intercultural Classical music unites the spirit and rhythms and African dances. This project are part of great artists such as Ana Maria Pinto, Allatantou Dance Company, Joana Peres, Miguel Gullander, Eliseu Silva and many others​​.With Bantu deep voice and perfect high notes, is considered one of the best artistic and musical waste of Angola , where sound records which are different from kuduro and kizomba are not valued.

In 2009, along with Wilker Flowers and Sonia Ferreira founded the Rock Festival Huambo, currently Orlei, initiating a cultural movement that today affects people of all Angola. Was the ground in 2011 Orlei, in Huambo and in the following editions accompanied by his band "Os Desempregados", with musicians Gavião, Costinha, O Toque é Esse, Bona Ska e Rattu Imortal, and perfomed in  Avalanche Rock / Metal Rock in Rio Catumbela 1st and 2nd edition, Rockultura festivals.

In 2009 he released a debut EP called "Estranho Atractor  - Boomerang Kármico (EP - 2009)" in Darkwave Style, this album features three powerful songs which are contained several different pictures of society and human philosophy. The line up consistis in: Miguel Gullander: Lyrics and vocals, Zé Beato: guitars and vocals & Dynamite Napoleon: music composition, keys, edition and mastering.

In 2014 he recorded and independently released his first album , and called it "CRU". On this album he tries to show his roots and presents us with its eleven older songs recorded with only a guitar and a voice, without edits, effects or mastering. This is an album done in the simplest way possible, with the lowest possible budget and completely independently.

In 2014 and 2015 was musician invited by the Instituto Camões in Namibia to act in the festivities of the Portuguese language. In 2015 he was in prime conservatory hall of Lisbon, live with Ana Maria Pinto, João Luís and Joana Peres at Le Foyer, presenting the project "Meet Xinganje & Kaviula" which had its first performance at Café Rivoli Concert, and November and December at the Porto Ateneu Commercial  and Casa Bo.

Currently he is working on recording two new and original albums: The first are being recorded in Portugal with the Soprano Ana Maria Pinto; this album will be called "Meet Xinganje & Kaviula ", this album features a selection of songs from a universe in which world music and kilapanga unite to classical music. The album features the participation of percussionist João Luís; and "Songbook Lòmundò", an album that will come with the same spirit of independence CRU, with new songs written and composited by himself.  At the same time , preparing the release of his next solo album in the same format as the first one, where all the work takes place in home studios and the more acoustic as possible.
